Ms
Lilas has penned an absolutely exquisite, flavorful novel. Her world
put to paper is so vivid, so clear, it deliciously assails each of your
senses to the point where you feel like you experience them yourself.
The emotions are powerful, the passion scorching. From the opening
scene at the produce stand to fiery feelings unable to be denied, this
is a brilliant story to be devoured. ~Charissa,

Rico's
Garden

Celebrated chef Rico
Alvarez is
living a life he knows he doesn’t deserve and given his past would
never have
believed possible a few years earlier.
Surrounded
by the finest things money
can buy he leads a sterile life of comfort and loneliness, and that
suits him
just fine – that is until gardener Eden Stuart runs him off the road
with her
dilapidated old farm truck.
His
anger at her recklessness soon gives way to unforgettable attraction.
More than
vegetables and flowers grow in Eden’s lush garden -healing and warmth
grow there
too. Despite his awakening love Rico makes it clear that sex is all he
has to
offer Eden – it’s all she’ll ever get from him.
Love without trust is meaningless and
nothing
more than personal vanity, Eden tells him, trust is
everything. Rico knows she’s right but trust is a
commodity unaffordable to a man with so much to hide and everything to
loose.
This books is like a slow, sumptous feast, teasing and stringing out
Rico and Eden's inevitable coming togehter. Though it takes
awhile for
the two to come together, it's like literary foreplay; once they do,
the physical connection is white hot. I loved Rico’s tattoos and
his rise from poverty; it set him apart from dozens of male
protagonists who
seem to be the same in many books. Eden is a
delicate mix of
fragility and strength, a difficult combination to get right, which Ms.
Lilas
does so perfectly here. ~Sakura

Rico’s Garden hurt
my heart...Rico’s Garden was a surprise for me.
Eve Lilas took my emotions full circle, but I was satisfied by the
book’s end, thank goodness. If you are a fan of emotionally-charged
stories, then Rico’s Garden is the book for you. I look forward to
reading more from Eve Lilas in the future. ~Talia Ricci,

When Rico and Eden finally come together, after what feels
like pages of foreplay, it’s a conflagration; a wildfire guaranteed to
throttle
up the room’s temperature. Ms. Lilas has scored a real hit with Rico’s
Garden. ~P.
